FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Who qualifies for the Collective?
Owners and controlling operators with a minimum of $250K in verified annual revenue and two or more years in business. There is no revenue ceiling. Every applicant completes an application and a chairman interview before a seat is offered.
Why is there only one door in?
Because the upper rooms only work if every member in them has been proven in a board. Every member enters through the Collective regardless of company size, serves at least twelve months on a stage-matched board, and ascends by graduation with board endorsement and a chairman invitation. Money cannot skip the line, and that is what protects the quality of every room in the house.
What is a hot seat?
A hot seat gives one member the board's full attention for a structured working session. It follows a five-step protocol: the member states their Ultimate Question, the board diagnoses the real problem, members share what they have done in similar situations, the member builds an action plan, and the plan becomes Who-What-When commitments recorded in the accountability system. Every member is guaranteed a minimum of two hot seats per year.
How does the confidentiality agreement work?
Every member signs a confidentiality agreement before their first meeting. What is shared in the boardroom, including numbers, struggles, and plans, stays in the boardroom. The agreement is a condition of membership and it is enforced.
What is the time commitment?
One 2.5-hour virtual board meeting each month, two 2-day national intensives each year, and the time it takes to keep your written commitments. Members who cannot protect the meeting time are asked not to apply.
Do I have to travel for the intensives?
Yes. The two national intensives are held in person, and attendance is part of the membership standard. Dates and locations are announced well in advance so members can plan travel.
How do renewal and the board vote work?
Membership renews annually. Renewal is not automatic: your board votes on every returning seat, and members who did not keep their commitments or contribute to the room are not invited back. The standard protects everyone who meets it.
What is the founding member rate?
Founding members join at $12,000 per year and hold that rate for as long as they remain in good standing. When the founding class is seated, the rate closes and will not be offered again.
